Established In 2002, St Mary’s choral scholarship scheme has been successful in attracting a wealth of promising young singers from the Nottingham’s universities, many of whom have gone on to successful careers in music, administered by the St Mary’s Choral Scholars’ Trust. The scheme provides eight scholarships for students each year. It is entirely funded by the generosity of donations made by supporters of the choir.
The Trust helps to support a long-cherished tradition of choral music in Nottingham, helping to secure the cultural heritage of the city as well as providing financial support to many talented young musicians.
