Bach Choir Concert

Finzi , Holst & Brahms

Presenting a selection of music by Brahms (including the beautiful ‘Song of Destiny’), Finzi’s stirring setting of the Magnificat and Holst’s famous eight-part Nunc Dimittis.  Alongside these choral masterpieces, the programme will include art song performed by the winner of the Nottingham Bach Choir’s Liz Chant Bursary award, Emily Hodkinson.  In an exciting innovation, this concert will start at 3pm, last about an hour and be followed by tea and cake!
