October 18th: Auction of Robins for Notts Hospice

The 34 gorgeous robins who’ve brightened up the city centre over the summer flew into St Mary’s last Thursday for a grand auction. They completley stole the hearts of bidders who spent £133,000 for the privilege of taking one home.  All proceeds went to Nottinghamshire Hospice who organised the event.

The cost of using the church was generously donated.

ChurchwardenTony Mitchell resisted buying ‘Judge Robin’, but it was a tough call.
